Elegance in the Sky: The Architecture of Rosario Candela

Elegance in the Sky: The Architecture of Rosario Candela, an exhibition that ran in 2018 at the Museum of the City of New York, explored the role that architect Rosario Candela played in shaping the modern luxury apartment building and the streetscapes of twentieth-century New York. Working with museum curators, PPA designed the layout of the exhibit and backdrop as well as helped determine which photographs and brochures to include. As the centerpiece of the show, PPA designed a short movie, modeled in Revit and animated in Lumion, which highlights the design, history and complexity of 960 Fifth Avenue, one of Candela’s masterpieces.
