Central Park South Apartment

Set within the grand Plaza Hotel, this expansive apartment achieves an elegant balance of tradition and modernity. The decorative details, from the fret-work frieze incorporating the air conditioning grilles to the coffered ceiling in the dining room, are inspired by the owner’s collection of decorative arts from Asia. Sliding pocket doors between the rooms, decorated by Katie Ridder, open the space to create impressive enfilades along the Central Park views.
