By weaving a discreet program of millwork and moldings into this classic pre-war Park Avenue apartment decorated by Thomas Jayne, PPA elevated the scale and character of each room. Verre eglomise panels in the library and niches for books in the dining room add character to the apartment. A servant’s room was incorporated to enlarge the marble-clad kitchen and new mechanicals were masked behind paneled doors between the living and dining rooms.
