JENNIFER GERAKARIS has been a principal at Peter Pennoyer Architects since 2011 and has managed large-scale residential projects ranging from new construction to historic preservation to full gut renovations. Jennifer’s expertise and her collaborations with consultants and interior designers have enabled her to successfully manage large teams and tackle some of the firm’s most challenging residential commissions. Her involvement in her projects encompasses all aspects, from initial concept to design through final construction documentation and supervision. Jennifer recently led her team through one of the most complicated residential projects in the firm’s history: the reconstruction and combination of two landmarked row houses into one 22,000 square foot structure on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Jennifer’s current projects include the restoration and renovation with new outbuildings of an historic estate in Massachusetts, a new Shingle style house on Long Island, and a townhouse renovation on the Upper East Side.
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Architecture from the Pratt Institute School of Architecture. She is a registered architect in the State of New York and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. Jennifer lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband and three children.
