Internship Program
PPA is an award-winning practice in traditional architecture, recognized as a leader in classicism and historic preservation. We are currently seeking architectural, interior design and conservation interns to join one of the firm’s highly skilled and technically innovative teams. At PPA, we strive to strike a balance between real project work and education for our internship program. Past educational elements have included:
Walking tours of NYC neighborhoods with Peter Pennoyer
A day at the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art (ICAA), which includes lectures and drawing classes
Book talks with writer and architectural historian Anne Walker
Office visits to historical sites
Workshop visits to our favorite artisan manufacturers
Independent design charette and presentation
A private tour of the Morgan Library
We feel that it’s important that our interns get to see the real work happening, which is why we prioritize as many site visits as possible.
There will be two sessions:
Session 1 – May 26th, 2026, through July 3rd, 2026
Session 2 – July 6th, 2026, through August 14th, 2026
