Jennifer Gerakaris has been with Peter Pennoyer Architects since 2008 and became a partner at the firm in 2011. Since joining PPA, Jennifer has managed large-scale residential projects ranging from new construction, preservation and restoration, to full gut renovations. Her involvement in her projects encompasses all aspects, from initial concept to design through final construction documentation and supervision.
Jennifer’s expertise and her collaborations with consultants and interior designers have enabled her to successfully manage large teams and tackle some of the firm’s most challenging residential commissions. Jennifer is currently leading a team through one of the most complicated residential projects in the firm’s history: the reconstruction and combination of two landmarked row houses into one structure on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Embracing the complexity of joining the two houses into one structure, the firm was inspired by Sir John Soane’s houses as an exploration of architectural ideas made real through the manipulation of interior space.
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Architecture from the Pratt Institute School of Architecture. She is a registered architect in the State of New York and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
