This townhouse had once been part of a unified street wall but was divided into studio apartments and all of the existing interior and exterior historical fabric was removed or damaged. Careful study of the neighboring houses enabled us to restore the exterior to its original appearance. The interior of the house was completely reconstructed using language inspired by Victorian style architecture of the mid to late 19th century. This project won a Stanford White Award in 2014.
